Coronavirus update: Armenia reports 59 new cases on April 28

Armenia has confirmed 59 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 1,867 in the country as of 11 a.m. Tuesday. April 28, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health reports.

18 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 866.

The number of COVID-19 deaths has increased by one to 30.

As many as 19,296 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.

The Ministry of Health identified the deceased as a 67-year-old patient who had underlying chronic health conditions.
