Soldier fatally wounded in Artsakh

A soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army suffered fatal gunshot wounds in the military post of an eastern military unit on Tuesday, at around 8:32pm.

The deceased was identified as Henrik S. Aramyan (born in 2000), the Artsakh Defense Ministry’s press service reported.

The circumstances of the tragic incident are yet to be clarified.

A probe is underway.

The ministry says it shares the heavy grief of the loss, extending its condolences to the family and fellow servicemen of the deceased.
