Coronavirus: Armenia reports 372 new cases on May 27

Armenia has confirmed 372 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of cases to 7,774 in the country as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, the Ministry of Health reports.

35 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 3,255.

The Covid-19 fatalities have grown by 7 to 98.

The latest victims were 85 (female), 78 (female), 69 (female), 60 (female), 76 (male), 66 (female) and 56 (male) years old. Except for the last patient, all had underlying chronic health conditions, the ministry said.

In addition, 5 cases of death were recorded on Tuesday when the patients had tested positive for Covid-19, but the cause of death was another disease. The total of such cases is 44.

The number of active cases is 4,377.

As many as 53,678 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
