The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by judge Anna Danibekyan, postponed on Tuesday another hearing in the case of Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan and three other former top officials.
The court failed to provide safe working conditions by resolving the issue of social distancing between the participants of the trial.
At the beginning of the hearing, former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov's lawyer Mihran Poghosyan said he had been in contact with a COVID-19 patient and was going to be tested for the infection.
In addition, it turned out that the courtroom had not been disinfected before the hearing.
The court hearing in the case concerning the alleged overthrow of the constitutional order was rescheduled for July 7.
