Situation on Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line relatively calm – Defense Ministry

The operational situation along the Artsakh-Azerbaijani line of contact remains relatively calm despite the escalation in the direction of Tavush Province on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on Sunday, the Artsakh Defense Ministry said in a statement.

“The Defense Army’s frontline troops continue to watchfully fulfill their combat tasks and are always ready to adequately retaliate, if necessary,” the statement added.
