Minister calls for students' voluntary self -isolation and restriction of interactions ahead of the resumption of classes

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan has called on school and university students for voluntary self-isolation and restriction of social interactions.

 

The minister's warning came after the government decision to resume classes in schools and universities across the country starting from September 15.

 

"To ensure the uninterrupted education process throughout the year and avoid new restrictions, I call on all students restrict their social interactions for the period of September 1-14 and self-isolate voluntarily to break the chain of the virus spread before the start of the classes," the minister wrote on Facebook.

 

In the minister's words, the restriction of social interactions will significantly ensure the education process will proceed without disruptions according to the schedule and adopted plan.
