Georgia COVID-19 cases top 3,000

Georgia reported 182 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing its total to 3,119, according to Xinhua.

The National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said that 129 of the 182 new cases were confirmed in the western Adjara region.

As of Friday, 1,435 of the 3,119 patients have recovered, while 19 others have died, said the center.

Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26.
