Artsakh Defense Army keeps repelling Azerbaijani attacks in all directions, president says

The Artsakh Defense Army continues confidently fulfilling its combat tasks, successfully repelling the attacks of the Azerbaijani military in all directions, Artsakh Republic President Arayik Harutyunyan said on Facebook.

“Under the confident command of Defense Minister Jalal Harutyunyan, our servicemen are effectively fulfilling their sacred mission of protecting the homeland,” he said.

In the early morning of September 27, Azerbaijan launched a massive air and artillery attack on the Artsakh military positions and numerous civilian settlements and infrastructure in the country, including capital Stepanakert. Artsakh civilians were urged to take shelter.
