Georgia reports 1,731 new COVID-19 cases

Georgia reported 1,731 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing its total to 33,858, Xinhua said. A total of 636 of the 1,731 new cases were confirmed in the capital city Tbilisi, the country's national center for disease control said. As of Wednesday, 14,829 of the 33,858 patients have recovered, while 253 others have died, said the center. Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26.
