Heavy fighting reported in Artsakh’s Askeran region

Intense fighting continues in different directions of the Artsakh frontline, Artsakh president’s spokesman Vahram Poghosyan said on Thursday morning.

“The Defense Army is waging heavy battles particularly in Avetaranots, Sghnakh and Aknaghbyur sections of the Askeran region. The enemy [Azerbaijan] has substantial losses of manpower,” he wrote on Facebook.
