Mayor of Armenia’s Masis charged

The Armenian law enforcement authorities have brought charges against Mayor of Masis Davit Hambardzumyan, he said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

"The Special Investigative Service (SIS) has charged me with organizing and holding an illegal rally,” he wrote.

"The accusation is absurd, but I would like to say that I will consider it an honor to organize and hold a rally under such conditions," the mayor added.
