Police detain Ijevan protesters demanding Nikol Pashinyan's resignation

A group of people on Wednesday held a rally in Ijevan, a town in Armenia’s Tavush Province, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

While the protesters were chanting “Nikol, the traitor” and “Nikol, go away”, police officers approached and began detaining them, a video of Mediaport Telegram channel shows.

One of the protesting citizens reprimanded police officers for defending “the traitor of the nation”.
