5 killed, 15 injured in Syrian Afrin’s explosion

A suspected car bomb detonated in Afrin, Syria, killed 5 people, including a child and left 15 others wounded, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported. 

The blast reportedly occurred in the city center. Some of the wounded people are suffering serious injuries, according to the source. 

The casualty figure is likely to be adjusted in the coming hours. Further details have not been revealed yet.
