A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck 75 km west of Ganja town of Azerbaijan, the Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported on Friday. The quake was recorded early evening on Friday 5 February at 7:36 pm local time, at a shallow depth of 10 km below the surface, the source said.
The tremor was felt in the territory of Armenia, near capital city Yerevan.
