Armenia reports 158 new coronavirus cases, 5 more deaths on March 1

Armenia has confirmed 158 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 172,216 as of 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, the Ministry of Health reports. 117 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 163,511. The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 5 to 3,195.

The number of active cases is 4,693. As many as 733,639 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
