600 trucks accumulated on the Russian side of Lars checkpoint

Some roads are closed in the territory of Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported on Monday. Roadways leading to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress of Aragatsotn province are closed.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open for all types of vehicles, and there are 600 trucks accumulated on the Russian side.

The ministry urges drives to drive exclusively on winter tires.
