Armenia’s coronavirus tally reaches 178,702 with 317 new cases on March 15

Armenia has confirmed 317 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 178,702 as of 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, the Ministry of Health reports.

230 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 166,410.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 10 to 3,265. The figure does not include the deaths of 837 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 8,190. As many as 776,843 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
