Armenia’s coronavirus tally rises to 188,446 on March 26

Armenia has confirmed 1,005 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 188,446 as of 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, the Ministry of Health reports.

433 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 170,160.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 18 to 3,434. The figure does not include the deaths of 876 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 13,976. As many as 828,159 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
