Armenia reports over 1,000 fresh coronavirus cases on March 27

Armenia has confirmed 1,094 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 189,540 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27, the Ministry of Health reports.

743 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 170,903.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 16 to 3,450. The figure does not include the deaths of 881 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 14,306. As many as 833,912 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
