72-year-old coronavirus patient dies after jumping out of hospital window in Yerevan

A 72-year-old COVID-19 patient has died after jumping out of a hospital window in Yerevan, the Ministry of Health said.

The incident took place at a hospital treating coronavirus patients on Tuesday night.

The man had repeatedly refused medical care in hospital, even after numerous conversations with psychologists, the ministry said.

His body was found early in the morning. Currently, the police are working at the scene to find out the circumstances of the incident.
