Armenia’s coronavirus tally reaches 212,878 with 764 fresh cases on April 24

Armenia has confirmed 764 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, bringing the national tally to 212,878 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, the Ministry of Health reports.

1,079 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 193,360.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 17 to 4,001. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,000 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

The number of active cases is 14,517. As many as 960,067 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
