Spanish lawmakers demand release of Armenian POWs

A group of Spanish MPs and senators have demanded the release of the Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) held in Azerbaijan.

The lawmakers on Tuesday were photographed together in front of the central entrance of the Congress holding posters reading “Freedom to Armenian prisoners of war”, the Armenian Embassy in Spain reported, sharing photos.

Six months after the end of the war in Artsakh, more than 200 Armenian POWs are still being held by Azerbaijan.
