Armenia’s daily coronavirus cases rise by 282 on May 15

Armenia has confirmed 282 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 220,729 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, the Ministry of Health reports.

636 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 208,100.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 13 to 4,314. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,058 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 7,257 active cases. As many as 1,033,513 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
