Armenia reports 191 fresh coronavirus cases on May 20

Armenia has confirmed 191 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 221,559 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, the Ministry of Health reports.

472 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 209,980.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 7 to 4,364. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,069 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 6,146 active cases. As many as 1,050,075 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
