Armenia’s coronavirus tally reaches 222,555 on May 29

Armenia has confirmed 42 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 222,555 as of 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, the Ministry of Health reports.

186 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 212,752.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 5 to 4,428. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,081 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 4,294 active cases. As many as 1,078,534 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
