Armenia reports zero daily coronavirus deaths for first time since disease onset

Armenia on Tuesday reported zero daily deaths from coronavirus for the first time since the disease onset.

73 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Armenia in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 223,285, the Ministry of Health reports.

105 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 214,609.

The COVID-19 death toll stands at 4,463. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,091 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 3,122 active cases. As many as 1,108,066 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
