Armenia reports 99 fresh COVID-19 cases on June 16

Armenia has confirmed 99 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 223,904 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, the Ministry of Health reports.

78 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 215,533.

The COVID-19 death toll has increased by 1 to 4,490. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,094 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 2,787 active cases. As many as 1,134,905 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
