Villagers block Yerevan-Gyumri highway protesting against shortage of irrigation water

Residents of number of communities in Shirak province blocked on Monday Yerevan-Gyumri highway, protesting  against shortage of irrigation water.  According to report by Aravot.am, the residents from Beniamin, Azatan and Getk communities inisist their demands have not been met by the Government. They demand either resumption of water supply or compensation for the damaged crops.
