Azerbaijani forces resume firing on Armenian positions near Yeraskh – Defense Ministry

The Azerbaijani troops resumed firing on the Armenian defense positions stationed near Yeraskh, a village in Armenia’s Ararat Province, at 3:30pm Monday, the Defense Ministry told Panorama.am.

“The Armenian side, as always, is taking retaliatory measures,” the ministry said.

Earlier on Monday, the Defense Ministry reported that the Azerbaijani forces had violated the ceasefire in the Ararat section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, particularly in the Yeraskh border area, from 11։30am, opening fire from firearms of various calibers at the Armenian positions.
