Armenia reports 280 fresh coronavirus cases on July 28

Armenia has confirmed 280 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 229,370 as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, the Ministry of Health reports.

99 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 219,379. No deaths have been reported today.

The COVID-19 death toll stands at 4,597. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,116 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.

Armenia now has 4,278 active cases. As many as 1,322,177 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
