Tokyo Olympics: Armenian boxer Hovhannes Bachkov advances to semifinals

Armenian boxer Hovhannes Bachkov (63kg) stormed into the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympics after an impressive victory on Tuesday.

Bachkov beat Elnur Abduraimov of Uzbekistan 5-0 in the men’s lightweight quarterfinals.

He will face U.S. boxer Keyshawn Davis in the semifinals scheduled to take place on August 6.
