Criminal case launched over Armenian serviceman's killing by Azerbaijani forces

On 16 August, 2021 at about 09:50 as a result of the shot fired by the enemy’s combat base towards the combat base of the unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense the contract serviceman Vahan D. Tatoyan received a firearm injury on the abdomen. As the Investigative Committee of Armenia reports, on the way to Ararat medical center V. Tatoyan died.

A criminal case was initiated in regard with the fact in the Eighth Garrison Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the  Investigative Committee according to the Points 2 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
