New NATO Special Rep for Caucasus, Central Asia Javier Colomina takes office

Spanish diplomat Javier Colomina has taken the office of the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia today, Agenda.ge reported.  He will also serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary-General (ASG) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

It is reminded, Colomina’s predecessor James Appathurai had occupied the post for the last 10 years.
