Ara Nranyan elected member of Public Services Regulatory Commission

Ara Nranyan was elected a member of Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission according to the results of a secret ballot on Tuesday.

75 out of 107 lawmakers took part in the voting. 68 MPs voted for him, while 7 others voted against.

Ara Nranyan was nominated to the post by the opposition Armenia and With Honor factions.

A member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission is elected in a secret ballot by majority vote.
