Azerbaijan uses Armenia's airspace to operate flights to Nakhijevan - reports

Azerbaijan Airlines started operating Baku-Nakhijevan-Baku flights through Armenia's airspace, according to reports in Azerbaijani media. 

"The change of the flight route will reduce the flight duration and consequently, the fuel consumption," the some of the benefits of using Armenia's airspace are mentioned in the reports. 

According to reports, the Azerbaijani Airlines can use all air corridors during the flight, including those passing through the space of Iran and Armenia.
