14 Syrian soldiers killed after explosion destroys bus in Damascus

A passenger bus has been destroyed in a blast in the Syrian capital, state TV reported on Wednesday. Two explosive devices detonated under the President Bridge, reports suggest, adding that there have been multiple casualties from the blast.

"According to preliminary data, 14 servicemen who were on the bus were killed," a source told Sputnik, adding that engineers defused another explosive device after the attack.

So far, no groups has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
