Artak Manukyan elected CBA Board member

Artak Manukyan was elected a member of the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) as a result of a secret ballot on Wednesday.

85 out of 107 lawmakers took part in the voting.

Manukyan's candidacy was backed by 65 deputies, while 20 others voted against.

He had been nominated for the position by the National Assembly Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
