Armenian ombudsman pays working visit to Syunik

Armenia’s Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) Arman Tatoyan on Monday paid a working visit to Syunik Province to examine the situation with the rights of local residents after the establishment of customs checkpoints by Azerbaijan, he said on Facebook.

The ombudsman underscored that the so-called border and customs control by Azerbaijani forces has no legal grounds.

“The situation with the rights of Syunik residents will be studied in detail," Tatoyan said.
