The motion of no confidence to Yerevan mayor to be debated on December 22

Yerevan's Council of Elders announced an extraordinary session on December 22 to debate the draft motion of no confidence to Mayor Hayk Marutyan. It is expected that the motion will be put up for voting on the same day.   

To remind, the ruling My Step bloc, which holds majority at the Yerevan Council of Elders, has initiated a no-confidence motion against Marutyan and announced a plan to replace him by his deputy Hrachya Sargsyan.
