Russia bans import of pepper and pomegranates from Turkey

Russia's agriculture safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor banned the import of pepper and pomegranate with total weight of 70 thousand tones from Turkey. With another decision, Rosselkhoznadzor has limited the import of Turkish grapes from December 10, Ria Novosty news agency reported. 

It is reported, that 12 insecticides were discovered in 6 types of agricultural food products from 33 producers from Turkey and Iran, 10 of which are not allowed to be used in Russia.
