Four children hospitalized with fireworks-related injuries in Yerevan

Four children were hospitalized with fireworks-related injuries at Surb Astvatsamayr (Holy Mother of God) Medical Center in Yerevan on New Year's Eve, the hospital said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

"Two children had their fingers blown off as fireworks exploded in their hands. The other two sustained relatively minor injuries," it said.

The children were operated on by plastic surgeons and were discharged from the hospital.
