The Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan on Thursday issued a call for the Armenian citizens living in the country.
A nationwide state of emergency has been declared in the country amid violent protests triggered by a fuel price increase. The move includes an 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. curfew, movement restrictions, and a ban on mass gatherings, according to Reuters.
“We strongly recommend that all citizens of the Republic of Armenia adhere to the safety rules, refrain from visiting crowded places and stay in hotels/accommodation facilities,” the embassy said.
