Artsakh adds 6 new Covid cases

Artsakh confirmed 6 new coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health reported on Saturday, January 8.

In total, 45 Covid-19 tests were performed in the country on January 7.

Currently, 54 coronavirus patients are hospitalized, the ministry said, adding the patients with mild symptoms receive home treatment.

15 patients are in critical condition, while 31 others are in severe condition.

The health authorities registered one Covid-19 death over the past day.

An estimated number of 32,789 people have been tested for coronavirus in Artsakh in 2021, with 4,844 of them receiving positive test results.
