Defense ministers of CSTO member states to discuss peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan

An extraordinary session of defense ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held on January 13, press secretary of the organization Vladimir Zainetdinov told Ria Novosty news agency.

"The defense ministers of CSTO member states plan to discuss the peacekeeping operation in Kazakhstan," Zainetdinov said, adding, the session  will be attended by the Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov and CSTO Deputy Secretary General Takhir Khayrulloyev. 

The meeting will be held in the format of videoconference, the source said.
