Soap production grows in Armenia in 11 months

Armenia saw an increase in soap production in the first eleven months of 2021, the latest official statistics show.

The country manufactured 714.1 tons of soap from January to November last year, up 22% from the same period of 2020 when the soap output stood at 585.3 tons, Panorama.am learned from the Statistical Committee of Armenia.

Meantime, the manufacture of detergents and starching agents rose by 29.1% to 5,876.2 tons in the reporting period against 4,550.1 tons in 2020.
