Snow reported in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Province

Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia as of Thursday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.

In particular, the roads connecting Amberd high mountain meteorological station with Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province remain closed.

Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

Aghvani-Halidzor roadway (difficult to pass) of Syunik Province and Dilijan turns of Tavush Province are partly icy.

Snow is reported in the towns of Vayk and Jermuk, as well as on Saravan-Zanger road section in Vayots Dzor Province.

Fog is observed over Goris-Kapan highway of Syunik Province.

According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all traffic.
