Russia and Ukraine have exchanged prisoners twice – Foreign Ministry

Russia and Ukraine have exchanged prisoners twice since the start of hostilities, according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

"Two prisoner swaps have been completed between Russia and Ukraine," RIA Novosti quoted Zakharova as saying on Wednesday.

"At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry daily organizes humanitarian corridors and the evacuation of civilians from residential areas,” she added.
