Caparros apologizes to fans after Armenia's crushing defeat to Norway

The head coach of the Armenian national football team, Joaquin Caparros, has offered an apology to fans for his team’s crushing defeat at the hands of the Norwegian team.

Armenia lost to Norway 0-9 in a friendly match played in Oslo on Tuesday.

"The result speaks for itself. The opponent was stronger than the Armenian team. Also, the removal of our player had an impact. First of all, I would like to apologize to our fans," Caparros told a post-match news conference.
