The Territorial Survey for Seismic Protection of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations detected a magnitude 2.4 earthquake in the Armenia-Georgia border area on Thursday, at 2:38pm local time.
The earthquake hit 14 km north-east off the village of Bavra in Shirak Province at a depth of 10 km. The tremor measured 3 on the MSK scale at the epicenter.
The jolts were felt in Bavra village.
