Deputy head of Yerevan administrative district steps down

Nerses Poghosyan has resigned as deputy head of the Avan administrative district in Yerevan, Levon Sardaryan, acting head of the Yerevan Municipality Public Relations Department, announced on Friday.

"The deputy head of Yerevan's Avan administrative district. Nerses Poghosyan, has submitted resignation," Sardaryan said.

Nerses Poghosyan has been at the center of various scandals more than once. A few days ago, police found a small amount of hashish during a raid in his house.
